Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Eastern Region (ER), Kolkata , invite application for the following  posts in various Ministries/ Offices of the Government of India :

1. Laboratory Assistant (Geology) Gr.I : 02 posts (UR), Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2800, Age : 18-27 years
2. Laboratory Assistant (Geology) Gr.II : 05 posts (UR-4, OBC-1), Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2400, Age : 18-27 years
3. Laboratory Assistant (Geology) Gr.III : 13 posts (UR-8, OBC-4, SC-1), Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.1900, Age : 18-25 years
4. Laboratory Assistant (Geophysical Workshop) Gr.I : 03 posts (UR), Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2800, Age : 18-30 years
5. Laboratory Assistant (Geophysical Workshop) Gr.II : 05 posts (UR-4, OBC-1), Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2400, Age : 18-30 years
6. Laboratory Assistant (Chemical) Gr.III : 24 posts (UR-15, SC-3, ST-1, OBC-5), Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.1900, Age : 18-25 years
7. Mechanic (Geophysical Workshop) : 18 posts (UR-16, OBC-1, ST-1), Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2000, Age : 18-28 years
8. Surveyor : 57 posts (UR-39, OBC-12, SC-4, ST-2), Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2400, Age : 18-25 years

Fee Payable : Rs.50/- (No fee for Women/ SC/ST/PH and Ex-Servicemen) by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only, available at head post office all over the country.

How to Apply : Application in prescribed format should be sent in an envelope superscribed with bold letters as "Application for the posts of ....................
