UPSC invites application on prescribed forms by 02/12/2010 (09/12/2010 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format. The posts are :
  1. Chief Instructor (Marine Engineer)  : 01 post in the Central Institute of Fisheries, Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET), Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Agriculture 
  2. Scientist SB  (Physical, Rubber, Plastic & Textile (PRT)) : 02 posts in National Test House, Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of  Consumer Affairs,  Food and Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs   
  3. Senior Scientific Officer Gr. I (Armament) : 01 post in DGQA, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence Production,  Minisry of Defence
  4. Senior Scientific Officer Gr. I I (Lie Detector) : 01 post in CFSL, Ministry of Home Affairs
  5. Deputy Central Intelligence Officers (Technical) : 07 posts in Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs 
  6. Deputy Legislative Counsel (Hindi)  : 01 post in Legislative Department, Ministry of Law & Justice 
  7. Assistant Public Prosecutor  : 01 post in Department of Personnel & Administrtive Reforms, Union Territory Administration of Daman & Diu  
Fee payable is Rs.50/- in the shape of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. (fee exempted for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates)
